Position Details

This position is located onsite at our dairy production plant in Smithfield, UT. Candidates applying for this position MUST be willing to relocate for future positions. You will have the opportunity to grow your career if you are willing to relocate now and for future positions. The role will start with night shifts, with flexibility to work other shifts as needed.

Additional compensation:

• Relocation benefits: $10,000 relocation bonus plus a generous relocation package if relocating more than 50 miles.
• Off‑shift bonus up to $10,000 annually for qualifying shifts.
• Extra shift bonus available when working beyond the regular schedule.

What you’ll do

Leadership

• Engage your team by communicating expectations and providing ongoing performance feedback.
• With coaching from plant leadership, guide production partners to maximize efficiencies and achieve daily production goals.
• Assist in overseeing plant processes and programs and monitor training to ensure team readiness.
• Support diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in alignment with company commitments.

Manufacturing Operations

• Daily problem solving to identify waste and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Participate in capital improvement projects.
• Resolve roadblocks to maximize production efficiencies.

Customer Compliance

• Collaborate to drive initiatives that serve customer obsession.
• Develop and demonstrate knowledge of government regulations.
• Represent the plant with regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
• Establish and audit SOPs to ensure customer requirements are met.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in dairy, food science, agriculture, business, or related field preferred; high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of proven leadership or manufacturing experience also acceptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑accountable, solution‑focused with a continuous desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to collaborate with partners from diverse backgrounds and create a culture of dignity and respect.
• Physical requirements: stand up 12 hours/day; walk up to 60 minutes per hour; sit up to 15 minutes per hour; lift/carry up to 50 pounds; bend/squat/twist as needed.
