Job summary

Schreiber Foods in Richland Center, WI, is seeking a night-shift operations leader to guide a team of production partners and meet daily production goals. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency on a 12-hour night schedule (Sunday–Tuesday and alternating Saturdays).

You will work with plant leadership to coach staff, monitor training, drive continuous improvement, and uphold our DEI commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma with 3–5 years leadership/manufacturing experience may be considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proactive, self-accountable, solution-focused, and committed to learning and growth.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and foster a culture of dignity and respect.
• Physical requirements: stand up to 12 hours per day; walk up to 60 minutes per hour; sit up to 15 minutes per hour; lift/carry up to 50 pounds; bend/squat/twist.

Job Description

This position will be working 12-hour night shift. Sunday-Tuesday and every other Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits (Selected)

• Relocation benefits: $10,000 relocation bonus plus relocation package if relocating more than 50 miles for the position.
• Off-shift bonus up to $10,000 annually for qualifying shifts.

What you’ll do

Leadership

• With coaching and support from plant leadership, guide a team of production partners to maximize efficiencies and achieve daily production goals.
• Assist in overseeing company, plant or department processes and programs; monitor training to ensure the team is prepared for success.
• Support diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in alignment with company commitments.

Manufacturing Operations

• Daily problem solving to identify waste and cost reduction opportunities.
• Participate in capital improvement projects.
• Resolve roadblocks to maximize production efficiencies.

Customer Compliance

• Collaborate with others to drive customer-focused efforts.
• Develop knowledge of various government regulations; represent the plant in regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
• Establish and audit standard operating procedures to monitor processes and meet customer requirements.

Note: Shift is nights and weekends; schedule will be shared during the interview process. There is potential to move to days based on performance.
