Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production operations, ensure top quality units, and drive cost-saving continuous improvements. You will lead teams, control floor activities, and oversee reporting on inventories, production achievement, and rejects.

The role requires self-direction, the ability to work overtime/all shifts, and strong leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected to support reporting and communications across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Self-directed and task-oriented mindset.
• Willing to work overtime and all shifts.
• Ability to lead teams and drive results.
• Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop production personnel.
• Floor control and daily oversight.
• Production reporting (inventories, achievement, rejects).
• Quality improvement initiative support.
• Maintain clear communications within the team.
• Attendance tracking (line-up, overtime).
• 5S and safety control adherence.
• Continuous improvement using PDCA cycle.
• Initiate training and assessment activities.
• Coaching and counseling of associates.
• Ensure meeting customer requirements (quality, cost, delivery).
