Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production operations, ensure top quality units, and drive cost-saving continuous improvements. You will lead teams, control floor activities, and oversee reporting on inventories, production achievement, and rejects.

The role requires self-direction, the ability to work overtime/all shifts, and strong leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected to support reporting and communications across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop production personnel.

This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the production area. This incumbent will be responsible for ensuring top quality units are produced, implementing continuous process improvement and cost savings, and performing the everyday schedule/team management duties.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• High School Diploma or GED
• Self-directed and task-oriented

• Ability to lead teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• College course work or 2-year Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership or Related Field
• 3 years of work experience in a repetitive, automotive manufacturing environment
