Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking a Production Supervisor in Kentucky to plan, direct, and monitor production to meet specifications, schedules, and quality targets. You will allocate labor and capital, coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales to develop production plans.

The role emphasizes minimizing downtime, guiding a team, and applying your experience to resolve issues within guidelines, with regular updates to management and occasional executive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; OR 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lead, train, and develop staff

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and monitors production to meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/quality targets
• Liaises with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales to develop production schedules and allocate resources
• Plans and manages maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions
