Job summary

Valeo in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a D Shift team in a high‑speed manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery. You will supervise about 52 hourly Associates, manage absenteeism, enforce safety rules, perform environmental risk analysis, and drive daily production goals to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in lieu of education considered.
• 3+ years of experience in Production Supervision or Maintenance Supervision for a high-speed manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 52 hourly Associates on D Shift.
• Manage absenteeism, enforce safety rules, conduct environmental risk analysis, and oversee performance of Associates.
• Drive daily production goals to ensure targets are met.
• Provide leadership and supervision of Production Associates and hourly personnel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher (experience in lieu of education considered)

The position is: Wednesday 1AM - 7AM, Thursday - Saturday 7PM - 7AM

What You Will Do

• You will be responsible for managing and supervising Production Associates and other hourly personnel on (what we call) D Shift
• You will supervise approximately 52 hourly Associates
• On a daily basis, you will manage absenteeism, safety rules enforcement, environmental risk analysis, and performance of Associates
• You will manage daily productions goals to ensure the production goals are met

What You Should Have

• You preferably have a Bachelor’s degree, but experience in lieu of education will be considered
• You have 3+ years of experience in Production Supervision or Maintenance Supervision for a high-speed manufacturing company
