Job summary

Tarkett is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the night shift at its Chagrin Falls plant. You will lead associates to meet customer, safety, and production goals while executing Tarkett’s strategy and promoting continuous improvement.

The role includes coaching, training, and hands-on leadership to resolve issues and sustain, document, and improve operations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 2–5 years in manufacturing supervision, and familiarity with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in manufacturing or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
• Experience with ISO9001, ISO14000 and ISO1800.
• Lean manufacturing and Visual Shop Floor Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily schedule attainment and allocate resources effectively.
• Define problems, collect data to establish facts and take decisive action.
• Monitor, evaluate and report performance using WCM shop floor tools.
• Own shift and performance reporting; coordinate training to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to improve processes.
• Coach and document in the corrective action process.
• Ensure ISO documentation and compliance, plus record procedures.

In this key position, he or she will effectively lead associates to ensure satisfaction of customer expectations, safety and production requirements while executing the Tarkett strategy and embracing Tarkett’s vision, mission, and objectives. The Supervisor will proactively lead, support, train, coach and direct his or her assigned work team to execute operational plans. This role will drive continuous improvement through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) while sustaining effective associate relationships.
