Job description

Production Supervisor (Night Shift) - Huntington Plant

Reports to: Production Manager

Responsible for coordinating with managers, quality assurance, maintenance technicians, and leads to meet daily production targets efficiently. Enforces all company policies, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), and safety policies.

Job Functions

• Monitor all production processes from mixing to packing, ensuring proper ingredients, oven speeds, temperatures, packaging materials, and date codes.
• Instruct and delegate tasks to ensure proper setup at shift start and throughout the shift.
• Communicate production issues to management, QA, and maintenance, collaborating to resolve problems.
• Inspect production lines regularly to ensure product quality and specifications are met.
• Complete and submit all required production documentation timely.
• Reprimand employees as necessary with management and HR approval.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the production area, assisting with housekeeping as needed.
• Train staff on production procedures and enforce compliance.
• Assist with sanitation and cleaning tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proficient in English (written and oral); bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• Strong math skills.
• Experience in supervising and training personnel.
• Previous production experience required.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; basic computer skills.

• Physical requirements include climbing, walking in cold environments, inspecting products visually, lifting objects up to 80 pounds, working with cleaning tools and chemicals, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Ability to read manufacturing guidelines and records.
