This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity levels in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The role also includes ensuring all reporting requirements are met for the supervision area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Train employees and create an environment that maximizes their quality and productivity performance in their respective roles.
2. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize departmental resources effectively and efficiently, adhering to safety, quality, and personnel satisfaction standards.
3. Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback as needed.
4. Promote goodwill within the department and company through proactive communication and employee involvement.
5. Collaborate with other departments to investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, process enhancement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions for improvements.
6. Promote safety throughout the work area where the crew operates.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more years of previous supervisory experience.
• Experience in the poultry or food industry is a plus.
• Leadership skills with experience managing 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends, as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
