Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead small teams in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing environment. You will ensure team safety, train and allocate manpower, and drive continuous improvement to improve product quality, reach throughput targets, and control costs.

The role requires strong communication, coaching, and the ability to coordinate with multiple levels of the plant, plus experience with Lean/kaizen and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all Plant areas.
• Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams.
• Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years supervision in high-volume environment preferred.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.
• Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software programs.

Responsibilities

• Meet production plan and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure a safe workplace, lead the team to improve safety, and enforce safety tools.
• Analyze losses during the shift and coordinate World Class Manufacturing activities.
• Proactively analyzes quality KPIs and guides Team Leaders.
• Allocate people on the line, manage absenteeism, train and build teams.
• Mobilize support groups and resources to lead problem-solving activities.
• Lead kaizen projects centered on Safety, Cost, Quality and Throughput.
