Job summary

OPW, a global leader in fluid-handling solutions and part of Dover Corporation, seeks a seasoned production leader at the Elon plant. You will coach teams, drive safety and quality, and coordinate daily operations to meet production goals.

This role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production with team leadership in a regulated setting, plus experience with ATM, Shop Floor Plus, AS400, or Infor XA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
• Five (5)+ years of experience in production, with 1–2 years leading a team in manufacturing.
• Experience with ATM, Shop Floor Plus, AS400, or Infor XA systems.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop talent and foster positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities, schedule resources, and set priorities.
• Direct and monitor production performance, safety, and quality to meet goals.
• Conduct floor audits and Gemba walks to identify improvements and waste.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen principles and drive continuous improvement.
