Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
• Excellent leadership and team skills; interface at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of processes and machines related to products manufactured within a given business unit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned employees and ensure compliance with quality standards and policies.
• Understand and manage production schedules to meet customer demands.
• Administer personnel functions including interviewing, evaluations and discipline.
• Oversee processes, equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping.
• Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment and contact experts when needed.
• Troubleshoot problems and coordinate with other departments for resolution.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed and coordinate cross-shift production.
• Screen, interview and onboard new hires; conduct performance reviews.
• Champion lean measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
