Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas is seeking a Production Department Leader to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our facility in North Carolina. You will ensure consistent equipment operation, on-time product delivery, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will supervise the designated shift, coach and develop Associates, and drive continuous improvement using Lean principles while coordinating with cross-functional teams to reduce variance and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Five years' production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Three years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, coach and develop Associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Production Department and ensure day-to-day execution of all production activities.
• Direct and supervise designated shift; act as technical resource to the shift.
• Promote safety, on-time delivery, and quality through Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate scheduling to meet production and shipment schedules; participate in cross-functional teams.
