Job summary

Siemens in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be the key driver of all daily production related processes and hub of information transfer between hourly assembly workforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing and planning.
• Improve safety for all personnel on the production line and drive efforts to reduce production errors, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.
• Handle production schedule, assign personnel to work areas, supervise progress, coordinate and document training, drive continuous improvement projects, and conduct annual employee performance evaluations.
• Maintain working relationships with the local union by following the collective bargaining agreement.
• Support digitalization efforts to implement tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Dashboards, and other connecting tools.

We are looking for a Production Supervisor. This position will be based at our new facility in Fort Worth, TX and on 2nd shift.

You’ll make an impact by:

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
• Project Management experience; strong leadership and time management skills, understanding of management approaches for work direction, motivation, talent development and performance management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
