Job summary

Autonomy Staffing is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturer in Sumter, SC to hire a Production Supervisor who will lead a team of production technicians and guide daily operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role requires 5+ years in chemical/industrial manufacturing and at least 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.

You will collaborate across maintenance, quality, and other departments to meet targets and drive performance on the plant

Qualifications

5+ years in chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing.
2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
Strong knowledge of safety policies and regulatory compliance.
Ability to troubleshoot process issues and make decisions under pressure.
Organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
Hands-on, lead-from-the-floor management style.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of production technicians on the plant floor.
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet targets and quality standards.
Enforce safety policies and procedures.
Monitor production process and address deviations.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Track production data and report metrics to plant leadership.
Coach and develop team members.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and costs.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
