Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing production plans, assisting the Quality Manager with improvements, and implementing changes to boost efficiency. Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with quality improvement principles.
• Familiarity with lawn mower/grain dryer processes a plus.
• Ability to learn production operations quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or instructions.
• Motivate, train, and coach employees to maximize performance.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules with Production Manager and assign personnel.
• Assist Quality Manager with quality improvement recommendations.
• Recommend changes to production procedures; check quality of finished products.
• Establish and modify operations methods by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Production Control, Shipping and Safety.
• Oversee employee relations including hiring, training, performance reviews, and policy administration.
• Assist with safety investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and equipment to direct proper and safe work.
• Perform labor time edits for accuracy on job orders.
• Notify maintenance about repairs and assist with improvements.
• Work in various production line areas as needed.
• Follow safety rules and participate in continuous improvement activities.
