Job summary

Newly Weds Foods seeks a Production Supervisor to lead production line operations, schedule staff, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company procedures. The role collaborates with Maintenance, QA, Customer Service and Warehouse to fulfill orders on a smooth shift.

Responsibilities include conducting staff meetings, training on scanning systems, maintaining GMPs, and tracking production metrics. Strong English communication and supervisory experience are essential in a fast-paced food

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Excellent communication skills/interpersonal skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Expertise in production operation – able to organize, troubleshoot, implement, train and administer production, safety & quality principles.
• Previous supervisory experience/supervisory-related coursework or training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient to safely execute technical mechanical duties, understand automated system alarms, and accurately complete food safety/regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule personnel to meet production requirements.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings.
• Conduct periodic health & safety meetings with hourly staff.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Implement and train staff on scanning system.
• Monitor GMPs, plant sanitation and housekeeping.
• Complete daily production report.
• Record employee hours/attendance.
• Assist in month-end inventory and related tasks.
