Job summary

CSS is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate assembly staff at floor stations, ensuring conformance to procedures and product quality. You will prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet production goals.

You will liaise with Sales and Purchasing to manage lead times, review BOMs, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and quality processes. A strong background in Lean methods and Office tools is expected.

Qualifications

  • Associates’ Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years of quality and LEAN process understanding and ability to implement.
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with limited standards.
  • Mathematical skills with understanding of ratios and units.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.

Responsibilities

  • Study production schedules and estimate worker/labor requirements.
  • Interpret specifications, drawings, and job orders.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Recommend measures to improve methods, equipment, and quality.
  • Resolve manufacturing issues and assist workers with problems.
  • Maintain time and production records.
  • Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Confers with Sales and Purchasing regarding lead time, delivery, and BOMs.
  • Review and monitor workers’ performance and attendance.
