Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled shift supervisor to oversee a production team on the assigned shift. You will set production goals, monitor machinery, operate forklifts, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a demanding manufacturing environment.

You will train and discipline employees, analyze production reports, and collaborate with maintenance staff to minimize downtime while maintaining a safe, inclusive work culture that values growth and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience training team members in equipment operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Able to walk elevated catwalks and work in extreme temperatures.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations for the shift.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery; sets up and operates equipment.
• Operate forklift as directed and adhere to safety policies.
• Inspect work in progress and finished product; oversee maintenance program.
• Track and report inventory and parts usage; analyze production reports.
• Train, promote, and discipline employees; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Supervise department to meet production targets; perform other duties as needed.
