Aptiv Interconnect is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our production team on-site in Orange, CA. The role focuses on executing production plans, coordinating with supply chain and engineering, and driving continuous improvement to meet company and customer targets.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years minimum in operations management is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role required.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
• Computer proficiency with strong Excel skills – MS Office and office mgt software.
• Create, update and maintain graphs and charts.
• Must possess excellent filing skills.
• Must possess excellent, written, and oral skills.
• Must possess strong and polished interpersonal skills.
• Must be a “team player”.
• Must be able to independently prioritize workload and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production floor and bridge gaps between floor and supply chain, quality and engineering.
• Lead the team and provide feedback, discipline, actions as necessary.
• Assist the leads in tracking time and attendance and manage schedules.
• Execute production plans to meet or exceed targets.
• Work with Stock Room, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Leads to support the floor.
• Drive daily performance reporting and KPIs such as safety, productivity, quality, delivery.
