Job summary

Ace Precision Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to motivate and guide a production team, ensuring top-quality products and safe operations. You will coach employees, optimize processes, and uphold high safety standards on the shop floor.

Lead initiatives to interpret complex drawings, plan production with schedules, and collaborate with management to boost productivity and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, develop, and direct a production team.
• Identify developmental needs and grow employee skills.
• Monitor production to ensure quality, housekeeping, and safety.
• Verify finished products using inspection tools such as bore gages, rail gages, and micrometers.
• Interpret drawings, routings, and specifications.
• Plan with work orders and schedules to meet daily goals.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and management to streamline processes.
• Schedule work with Production Control to maintain workflow between shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement through knowledge of materials and processes.

What You Will Do

• Motivate, develop, and direct an engaged team of production employees
• Identify developmental needs and help employees grow their skills, knowledge, and confidence
• Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality, housekeeping, and safety standards
• Verify finished products using inspection tools including bore gages, rail gages, and micrometers
• Interpret complex drawings, routings, and specifications
• Analyze work orders and production schedules to plan for efficiency and achieve daily goals
• Work closely with other supervisors and management to streamline processes and boost overall productivity
• Partner with Production Control to schedule work, manage assignments, and maintain workflow between shifts
• Bring your knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement

What Experience You Need

• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field, with minimum three years of supervisory or lead experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is essential
