Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a nights-based Production Supervisor to lead a team of 4 operatives in Tipton on a 6:00pm–6:00am Monday-Thursday shift. This temp-to-perm role offers long weekends every week and a £100 attendance bonus.

You will monitor production output, manage time and attendance, ensure Health & Safety standards, and report performance to the Production Manager in a growing recycling operation processing UPVC waste into re-usable plastics.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or shift leadership experience.
• Background in production/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Recycling/plastics or extrusion experience is advantageous.
• Titles include Senior Operator, Shift Supervisor, production team leader.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 4 production operatives.
• Monitor production output and ensure targets are met.
• Monitor machines and perform basic adjustments.
• Manage time and attendance.
• Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards.
• Report shift performance to the Production Manager.

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking for a stable nights-based role with a growing manufacturing and recycling business?

We're seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a team of 4 operatives on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist recycling operation that processes UPVC windows and offcuts, transforming waste materials into reusable plastic pellets for manufacturing industries.

The Role

• Supervising and supporting a team of 4 production operatives
• Monitoring production output and ensuring targets are achieved
• Machine monitoring, adjustment, and basic setting
• Managing time and attendance
• Promoting and enforcing Health & Safety standards
• Reporting shift performance to the Production Manager

The Environment

The site operates a range of equipment including:

• Shredding machinery
• Metal separation systems
• Material handling equipment
• Plastic extrusion machinery

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory, team leader, or shift leader experience is essential
• Production, manufacturing, processing, or material handling background
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
• Recycling, material reclamation, plastics, or extrusion experience would be advantageous
• Current or past roles include, senior operator, shift supervisor, shift team leader, production team leader, manufacturing supervisor, manufacturing team leader, production supervisor
