Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is seeking a Production Technician Supervisor for the first shift to lead a high-performing, cross-functional team on electromechanical assemblies in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical manufacturing and a proven track record in leadership, CAD navigation, and ERP/MES proficiency, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in formal leadership in manufacturing.
• 8+ years in technical manufacturing or high-tech hardware.
• Ability to read technical drawings; 3D CAD navigation a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES systems for scheduling and labor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians to build electromechanical parts.
• Execute production plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve build issues.
• Organize daily task lists and workflow.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings on safety, quality, cost, delivery.
• Provide shift handoffs and executive updates.
• Enforce safety protocols with EHSS.
• Train and qualify technicians in manufacturing processes.
• Manage timecards, performance reviews, labor relations.
• Lead hands-on R&D and prototype hardware builds.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and drawings.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
