Job description

Hours:

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday

Summary:

This position will coordinate Final Assembly resources with materials to meet the Master Production Schedule, requiring high-level problem solving to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.

Time Utilization:

Travel up to 2%. Business hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Flexibility in schedule may be needed for internal and external customer needs, including nights and weekends as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Execute the Master Production Schedule by leading the team to meet the daily schedule, adjusting overtime as necessary.
  2. Monitor process steps, set timing goals, observe output, and implement improvements to maintain throughput.
  3. Oversee cleaning and organization of the department, maintain 5S practices, and manage outbound item identification.
  4. Track KPIs using SAP, including output, shipments, and counts to ensure on-time delivery.
  5. Develop and revise systems and procedures to improve operations.
  6. Ensure a safe work environment through education and compliance.
  7. Attend training to maintain technical knowledge and review safety bulletins and new equipment releases.
  8. Review order details for risk and ensure all aspects are accounted for before work begins.
  9. Coordinate in/out movement of machines and components, confirming completeness and standards.
  10. Ensure quality assurance documentation and testing are completed and filed properly.
  11. Create standard work procedures for stock machine programs.
  12. Define and enhance roles, goals, and responsibilities within the department, ensuring effective training and performance reviews.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with 7 years of manufacturing or equipment service experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role. Must have strong supervisory, organizational, and operational skills, and be capable of managing complex processes efficiently.

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency in English communication, advanced math skills, reasoning ability, and computer skills (MS Office, SAP preferred). Valid driver's license and ability to travel internationally. APICS certification is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise associates in Final Assembly, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and problem resolution.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Exposure to mechanical parts, electrical risk, and loud noise. Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly, with vision and mobility requirements as specified.
