A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Final Assembly Supervisor to oversee production processes and ensure efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimize operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role requires effective communication and problem-solving abilities to meet customer delivery requirements.
Summary : On a day-to-day basis, this position will align Final Assembly resources with materials to meet the Master Production Schedule. This position requires problem solving at a high level to meet delivery requirements for our customers.
Time Utilization : This position may travel up to 2%of the time. Normal business hours are 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customer's schedules and due dates. Supervisor coverage necessary for nights and weekends may be required based on customer needs.

Qualifications :

Education / Experience :
High school diploma or GED and seven years of manufacturing or equipment service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years lead or supervisory experience in Manufacturing or Production required.
Ability to supervise employees, organize workflows, and execute order deliveries via production schedules in a fast-paced environment required. Must be highly skilled in complex operations and able to comprehend the multifaceted nature of the manufacturing process. Ability to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs required.
Language Ability :
Must demonstrate the ability to have clear and precise communication skills of the English language. Verbal and written are necessary to communicate with co-workers, multiple internal departments as well as our international partners. The candidate must be able to lead internal team discussions and have the involvement into global teleconferences involving Manufacturing. Must be able to write understandable procedures, document processes, and progress reports.
Math Ability :
Requires and ability to calculate the available capacity against calculated requirement needs. Calculating of resources to support short and long term planning. Requires the use of advanced measuring techniques. Must possess the ability to calculate percentages, area and volume. Must be able to work in both Metric and English.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to convert component drawings into real finished assemblies. Ability to analyze component drawings and decipher paper prints. Able to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to make subjective decisions to positively impact production of required components. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Ability to input data and manage daily work requirements using inventory management software, creating, deleting, and editing data required. Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
Certificates and Licenses :
Current valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position. APICs certification a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Directly supervises associates in the Final Assembly . Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
