Essential Functions
- Manage and direct activities of the assigned shift, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput standards are met.
- Maintain effective working relationships through open communication and involvement to promote a positive environment that maximizes safety, engagement, productivity, and throughput.
- Analyze production schedules, adjust team assignments, and verify job correctness in systems.
- Coach and develop team members, handle employment decisions, and resolve conflicts, partnering with HR and management.
- Inspect raw materials, perform quality checks, and collaborate with maintenance to resolve downtime issues.
- Complete shift reports and conduct safety and quality walkthroughs.
- Interface with other departments to meet customer deadlines.
- Participate in hiring interviews and promote a safety culture through training and meetings.
- Adhere to safety programs, GMP, and Food Safety Standards, and suggest improvements.
- Monitor team attendance and utilize tools to understand line downtime.
- Work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Experience managing people/projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in manufacturing and in a management role.

Education & Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
