WHO WE ARE:

We are a manufacturing company located in Irvington, NJ, specializing in the Cold Chain Industry, producing Insulator Pads made of recycled fibers for the Food and/or Pharma Industry.

HOURS/SCHEDULE:

2nd shift, Monday-Friday, with willingness to work OT and occasional Saturdays if needed. Hours are 3:30pm-12:00am.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

As a 2nd shift Production Supervisor/Electromechanic, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of 2nd shift production operations, overseeing personnel within your designated areas, and performing maintenance tasks (Shredding, Hammermill, Paper Airlay, Mattress Airlay, Packaging Line, or Night Shift).

• Provide support for resources within your designated area.
• Control efficiencies within your area.
• Ensure safety compliance according to OSHA standards.
• Ensure Line Workers follow safety protocols.
• Maintain quality standards based on customer specifications.
• Assign or delegate responsibilities for work activities.
• Train and evaluate employees.
• Assist in planning and organizing daily production activities.
• Generate production reports.
• Contribute to the company's profitability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform maintenance as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications):

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years of electromechanical and maintenance experience in manufacturing, willing to perform maintenance tasks.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• At least 3 years of forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., multiple times daily.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
