Job summary

Sanimax is seeking a First Shift Production Supervisor at our South St. Paul location. This swing shift role covers second and third shifts as needed for PTO and absences, with a base salary in the 75k–94k range depending on experience.

The role focuses on leading production operations, ensuring safety programs, and driving performance while managing receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Preferred Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
• Maintain a highly trained and motivated work force
• Complete individual performance evaluations
• Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
• Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
• Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
• In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required
