Position Overview

The Cutting/Sewing Supervisor manages daily operations of the department, overseeing team performance, ensuring quality, and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide team members to meet production and quality standards.
2. Production Planning: Schedule work to ensure timely order completion.
3. Quality Assurance: Monitor processes for accuracy and standards compliance.
4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements.
5. Training & Development: Mentor team members to improve skills.
6. Inventory Management: Maintain adequate materials stock.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee machinery upkeep and safety.
8. Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean environment.
9. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
10. Reporting: Track performance metrics and report findings.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
2. Supervisory experience in a cutting/sewing environment.
3. Knowledge of fabrics, techniques, and industrial sewing machines.
4. Leadership and motivation skills.
5. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
6. Organizational and time-management skills.
7. Proficiency in ERP and Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements
