Digital Content Writer

About The Role

As part of Gallagher's global digital experience team, the Digital Content Writer will create dynamic digital experiences that generate leads through compelling, optimized content for Gallagher websites. This role involves unifying global and regional business units, leading user research, UX, content strategy, and SEO to enhance digital customer experiences.

About You

You are a skilled writer with SEO expertise, capable of creating content for digital audiences across various brands and customer types. You conduct thorough research, utilize analytics for data-driven decisions, and adapt tone and voice to brand guidelines. You are organized, collaborative, and eager to learn new tools, with experience in B2B and B2B2C content, especially in insurance and consulting sectors.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and edit engaging content for digital platforms, including websites, using SEO best practices.
  2. Plan and initiate content projects, conduct stakeholder interviews, and review drafts for approval.
  3. Manage content workflows, ensure content aligns with brand tone, and optimize content based on analytics and UX research.
  4. Collaborate with global teams across design, SEO, UX, and marketing to improve content effectiveness.
  5. Conduct content audits, recommend improvements, and leverage data to scale content strategies.
  6. Maintain flexibility to meet global stakeholders' schedules and adapt to various project phases.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years experience in digital marketing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluent in US and UK English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in B2B/insurance and risk management content development is a plus.
  • Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Figma, Trello, Workfront, and familiarity with Marketing Cloud, Hotjar, and Qualtrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different regions, working with global stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leveraging data to drive engagement and conversions.
