This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring product quality, and meeting production targets while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Responsibilities:Practice the Taylor Core Values.Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.Monitor production processes and adjust priorities priority and personnel as needed to meet targets.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety and operational standards.Collaborate with other departments (e. g., Quality Control, Maintenance) to address issues and optimize production flow.Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.Implement and monitor production metrics to drive performance improvements.Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts within the team.Attend Scheduling meetings and proactively report out on deliveryInform the Manager of jobs in jeopardy of missing a due date.Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.Coordinate a training program that successfully elevates employee capability and performance. Manages the daily productivity against the production schedule and quickly resolves performance issues.Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent2+ Years Production Supervisory ExperienceDemonstrated skills in leadership, organization and problem solvingExcellent communicator, listener, negotiator and facilitatorAbility to understand complex concepts and communicate across all levels of the companyExperience in MS Office suiteRequirements within this position:Regularly required to stand/walk for long periods of timeRoutinely operates machinery and handles products including print materialsRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).We would also prefer:Printing experienceContinuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing experienceExperience with environmental and safety regulationsThe anticipated annual range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
