Job summary

American Orthodontics is seeking a Production Supervisor/Coordinator for 2nd shift in Sheboygan, WI. You will direct daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, manage resources, and communicate with other shifts to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in direct manufacturing.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, email, word processing).
• Must have good critical process thinking skills.
• Direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP system a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Direct work in all assigned departments based on available resources (personnel and equipment).
• Communicate with coordinators on other shifts that are assigned to the same departments.
• Review rejects for non-conforming materials.
• Complete payroll system generated requests such as weekly timecards and vacation approvals.
• Complete tasks in the quality system (root cause investigations).
• Monitor safety stock of raw materials, components, and supplies.
• Improve workplace organization and cleanliness.
• Provide formal feedback to individuals based on scrap and output.
• Understand contribution to monthly operations KPI’s.
• Complete formal reviews and one-on-ones twice per year with all associates.
