Job summary

LMU's School of Film and Television seeks a Production Supervisor to support and coordinate high-volume student productions while ensuring safety, policy compliance, and efficient use of campus resources. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of related work experience in film or television production.
• Experience in the AD department or as a production coordinator is required.
• Experience as 1st AD, UPM or line producer is highly preferred.
• Demonstrable professional experience and roster qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student project approvals and oversight, including green-light meetings.
• Verify productions meet required permits, risk management approvals, and staffing.
• Review DPRs, equipment returns, and wrap documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Advise students on best practices, safety protocols, and production solutions.
• Coordinate with faculty and departments to address student and project needs and schedule productions.
