Job summary

All Star Auto Parts, Livonia, MI, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 20+ person team in our remanufacturing facility for automotive lights. You will oversee daily operations, optimize material movement, ensure safety compliance, and drive quality to meet customer delivery expectations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of leadership in a production environment, with a HS diploma or GED required and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership in operations supervising a 20+ person team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in manufacturing, production and warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations including inventory management, material movement, quality control, and shipping.
• Audit teams to ensure adherence to processes, improving efficiency and minimizing returns.
• Comply with safety standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Meet and enforce quality control, inventory accuracy, and production standards.
• Ensure timely order commitments to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Assist in developing and implementing on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
• Support the Operations Manager/General Manager as needed.
• Prepare and send daily shift reports to site management.
• Ensure cross-training of employees and maintain a consistent job rotation.
• Monitor employee adherence to production tracking protocols and goals.
• Participate in the hiring process for site personnel.
• Conduct weekly quality meetings with team members to uphold standards.
• Mentor, coach, and train production team members.
• Manage ordering and organization of raw materials for the production department.
