Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manpower and scheduling, oversee absentee coverage, and train staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, a preference for a Bachelor's in business administration or management, and at least three years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and MS Office skills are essential for maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management preferred.
• Three years of production supervisory experience.
• Open to work off shifts and overtime when needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements.
• Manage absentee coverage.
• Provide on-the-job training to employees.
• Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization.
• Maintain an accurate record of all production activities.
• Evaluate team performance.
• Interact with other departments when necessary to ensure proper system function.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
• Provide preventative maintenance.
• Initiate new job start-ups when required.
• Effectively manage scrap control and reduction.
• Engage in plan development and implementation.
• Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks.
• Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.
