Responsibilities

• Plan and direct short term production functions to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Analyze production requirements and implement corrective action.
• Monitor and control overhead spending within plant budgets.
• Review and analyze cost and schedule data to monitor performance/productivity and implement improvement plans as required.
• Monitor and control overhead spending to stay within budgets.
• Enforce work rules and practices to staff and hourly workforce.
• Provide input on methods to improve productivity through equipment acquisition and better assembly methods.
• Ensure employee skills are assessed and development plans created.
