Job summary

HCC, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing operations in the assigned area. You will communicate expectations to both hourly and salary staff and monitor daily production results to meet targets.

You will lead by coaching, counseling, and applying 5S principles to maintain a safe, organized plant. You’ll ensure quality policies are followed, maintain union relations, and drive continuous improvement and ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing environment.
• Supervisor or lead experience.
• Ability to multi-task in a changing environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates production operations within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Communicates job expectations to hourly and salary employees; plans, monitors, and appraises production results.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring process steps, equipment, and resources to meet targets.
• Allocates personnel and manages workflow to meet production requirements and schedules.
• Drives production goals, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures 5S methodology is applied to maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
• Ensures safety rules and PPE requirements are followed by all employees.
• Maintains compliance with Quality policies and ISO 9001:2015.
