Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Production Supervisor in Valdosta, GA to oversee overnight manufacturing operations. You will ensure safe, efficient run-times, enforce sanitation and safety protocols, and lead an overnight team toward KPI goals.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of frontline leadership in food/beverage or FMCG, with a HS diploma or equivalent and knowledge of HACCP/OSHA. Experience with SAP or Plex is valued; this is a full-time night-shift role offering growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive frontline leadership experience in industrial manufacturing (food/beverage/perishable CPG preferred).
• High School Diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of food safety programs (SQF/BRC/HACCP) and OSHA standards.
• Hands-on experience with inventory and shop-floor software (e.g., SAP, Plex, ERP/MES tools).
• Self-motivated leader with strong problem-solving, communication, and endurance for overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Overnight Production Operations: Manage all overnight line activities, maintaining workflow momentum and ensuring order fulfillment targets are met safely and on schedule.
• Sanitation & Quality Standards: Enforce rigorous adherence to HACCP protocols, USDA/FDA guidelines, and quality policies.
• Team Engagement & Management: Lead, mentor, and build accountability among overnight operators, sanitation crews, and material handlers; manage shifts.
• Inter-Shift Coordination: Conduct turnover with 1st and 2nd shift management; report downtime, yield metrics, and maintenance issues.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure OSHA compliance, oversee hazardous material handling, and conduct shift risk assessments.
• Operational Troubleshooting: Identify bottlenecks, apply swift corrective actions, use Lean tools to minimize downtime.

Industry leading food manufacturer in the Valdosta, GA area is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our overnight manufacturing operations. This critical role ensures smooth production run-times, enforces strict sanitation and safety protocols, and leads our graveyard shift team toward achieving operational key performance indicators. The ideal candidate brings a proven record of team management, with strong preference given to backgrounds in food processing, beverage, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).

Key Responsibilities

• Overnight Production Operations: Manage all overnight line activities, maintaining workflow momentum and ensuring order fulfillment targets are met safely and on schedule.
• Sanitation & Quality Standards: Enforce rigorous adherence to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols, USDA/FDA guidelines, and corporate quality assurance policies.
• Team Engagement & Management: Lead, mentor, and build accountability among overnight operators, sanitation crews, and material handlers. Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and performance appraisals.
• Inter-Shift Coordination: Execute detailed turnover protocols with incoming 1st shift and outgoing 2nd shift management to report downtime, yield metrics, and equipment maintenance issues.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure strict compliance with local workplace safety regulations (OSHA), oversee hazardous material handling, and conduct regular shift risk assessments.
• Operational Troubleshooting: Identify production bottlenecks in real time, executing swift corrective actions and leveraging Lean tools to minimize night-shift downtime.
