Job summary

Storm-Search- is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift (Thursday-Saturday). You will supervise, train, and guide staff on SOPs and operating conditions, and help maintain a safe, compliant production environment.

You will also load/unload product, move materials, and monitor line equipment during changeovers. You will record inventory movements, label finished products, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and communicate with other departments to resolve operational concerns.

Qualifications

• Supervisory role on a production line.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to stand and work on feet daily.

Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist with, and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operating conditions.
• Clean, set up, operate, and monitor production line equipment.
• Perform equipment and area cleanings during downtime and product changeovers.
• Load and unload product stacks and move materials as needed.
• Sort, bundle, package, and place products into designated containers or assembled units.
• Label and code finished products accurately.
• Record the movement of inventory and materials into and out of work areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate equipment and operating issues.
• Monitor materials, products, and equipment throughout the production process and report irregularities to management.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, supervisors, managers, and production employees regarding operational issues and concerns.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, clearly, and legibly.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with process improvements.
• Follow all required safety procedures, including proper PPE, confined space safety, chemical handling, fall protection, and other applicable safety practices.
• Immediately report food safety, food quality, equipment, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain a calm and professional approach, particularly during emergencies or unexpected production issues.
