Job Description

You will direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. You will lead a team of over 40 employees on our overnight shift. You will plan and administer procedures and budgets. You will make budgetary recommendations and control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. You will develop schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas. You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. You will work onsite from Mequon, WI on 3rd Shift and report to the Operations Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for directing the development and implementation of production goals in safety, quality, customer delivery, and financial improvement.
• Select and hire employees and provide on-going performance monitoring. Evaluate employee performance on a continual basis and provide continuous performance feedback. Demonstrate a commitment to employee development as a means of ensuring the company's ongoing capacity to achieve business goals.
• Actively listen to and respond to employee concerns and issues, demonstrating integrity and trustworthiness under all circumstances and treating others honestly and fairly.
• Establish and implement employee training and development programs and schedules, training and motivating team members in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of policies and procedures.
• Understand and maintain complex manufacturing order management systems. Administer and maintain employee time at work records and systems.
• Lead and/or manage courageously during organizational change; take appropriate risks and encourage others to do so, thus promoting a culture that values risk-taking.
• Maintain and enforce safe work practices while executing company policies and procedures with respect to disciplinary policies.
• Coach and train teams in the philosophy of continuous improvement and waste reduction concepts.
• Understand operating budgetary controls and manage departmental expenses to budget and according to business conditions.
• Accountable for safety, quality, customer delivery, and productivity improvement objectives while integrating and streamlining processes throughout the supply chain.
• Anticipate and meet the information needs of all organizational levels and comprehend the needs and requirements of customers or business partners.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Technology, or related) or Business (Management, Supply Chain, or related).
• 1+ years of experience in supervision/engineering in an electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on 3rd Shift.
