Job summary

Chroma Color Corporation, headquartered in McHenry, Illinois, is seeking a 3rd shift (overnights) Production Supervisor at its Lambertville, NJ facility. You will oversee production staff, ensure safety protocols, and maintain production metrics while keeping excellent relations with employees.

Must have at least 5 years of supervision in manufacturing, strong leadership, and solid communication. The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, regular walking, and reading/writing in English.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years minimum experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
• Oversee all production employees to ensure that schedules and metrics are met.
• Maintain excellent employee relations.
• Inspect all production paperwork for accuracy.
• Initiate maintenance job tickets and communicate issues with maintenance manager.
• Oversee all new hire training to ensure that they are fully qualified to perform their duties.
• Open and/or close the facility when needed.
• Keep the production manager informed of any issues that may arise.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (including but not limited to: lifting up to 55 lbs., and moving up to 300 lbs., climbing stairs and walking for long periods of time.)
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment for safety and environmental regulations.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
