Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3–5 years as front line supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in food manufacturing facilities and knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation practices.

Oversee the workflow at our facilities.
Meet production goals, quality, safety, people leadership, engagement and cost objectives.
Direction setting, accountability, coaching, feedback, performance reviews and development.
Monitor the production process using RedZone and engage with the area team on the floor.
Escalate production issues and communicate promptly.
Plan, organize and delegate work assignments to fit schedules and maximize manpower and equipment.
Complete administrative tasks such as interviewing new team members, scheduling, safety reporting, and system entries.
Ensure product specifications are met and notify production manager and QA if quality is questioned.
Resolve quality issues through training and enforcement of standards.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee the workflow at our facilities
Focus on meeting production goals, quality, safety, people leadership, engagement, and cost objectives
Responsible for performance management including direction setting, accountability, coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and development
Monitor the production process utilizing RedZone and by engaging with the area team on the floor
Escalate production issues and communicate within a timely manner
Plan, organize, and delegate work assignments to accommodate schedules and best utilize manpower and equipment
Complete administrative tasks such as interviewing new team members, planning & scheduling, safety reporting, and system entries
Ensure product specifications are met and notify production manager and quality assurance if product quality is questioned
Resolve quality issues through personnel training and enforcement of standards
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects

Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 3-5 years as front line supervisor in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Experience in food manufacturing facilities and knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, and sanitation practices is helpful
Must possess knowledge of the manufacturing environment
Skill set of strong leadership capability and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross functionally and upwards
Skill set must include strong analytical ability, observation, and coaching skills
Ability to motivate, lead, and engage employees
Excellent problem solving skills and strong work ethic
