Job summary

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in fabrication. This role will supervise approximately 25-30 staff, coordinating with engineers and other functions to ensure safety, quality, and on-time production.

Primary responsibilities include planning operations, assigning work, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standards. Candidates should have 3–5 years in manufacturing and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and supervises fabrication staff to meet production goals with quality and safety.
  • Plan operations, resources, and workflow to ensure timely production and product quality.
  • Assigns work and cross-trains employees.
  • Enforces safety devices and PPE; maintains housekeeping; drives safety improvements.
  • Monitors quality and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with internal groups on cost reduction, scheduling and manpower planning.
  • Supports employee communications, training, and development; maintains positive relations.
  • Ensures compliance with attendance and performance policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Fabrication (Sub-Zero)

This position will supervise approximately 25-30 fabrication staff at a given time. In addition to supervising direct reports, this position will also work collaboratively with other supervisors, engineers, and other business functions to ensure safety, quality, and production needs are being met.


Core hours for 2nd shift are M-F, 2:00pm - 10:00pm.


Primary Responsibilities


Leads and supervises people and fabrication activities to achieve established production goals consistent with standards of quality, safety, cost and housekeeping.



  • Plans operations, utilization of skills and man-hours, material and work flow to assure timely production and quality standards of assigned products.

  • Organizes and assigns work and instructs cross-trains and otherwise assists employees in the performance of their work.

  • Ensures the consistent use of safety devices and personal protective equipment (PPE), supervises departmental housekeeping and maintains constant alert for hazardous conditions and practices. Drives safety ideas and improvements.

  • Monitors and drives quality measures and implements continuous improvement efforts.

  • Provides information and collaborates with other internal groups to effect cost reduction, work simplification, production scheduling and manpower planning.

  • Participates in and coordinates programs related to employee communications, placement, training and development, orientation, quality, etc.

  • Promotes positive employee relations through daily, open and direct communications.

  • Ensures conformance with Company policies, practices and work rules related to attendance, performance, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
