Job summary

Universal Galvanizing Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead the production team and ensure the line operates efficiently and safely.

You will assign staff, monitor performance, complete 30/60/90-day reviews, coordinate with the operations lead for materials, and support HR on coaching and disciplinary matters while maintaining low turnover.

• Assign tasks to staff members.
• Supervise staff to ensure that tasks are completed on time and according to safety rules.
• Communicate with operations lead materials needed for production.
• Contribute to retaining staff and keeping a low turnover rate.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide training where necessary.
• Complete 30/60/90-day reviews with each new hire.
• Make sure each new hire completes the training program with their assigned trainer.

• Resolve workplace disputes.
