Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Production Supervisor for the Soil department to lead daily operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and engage production staff. You will manage a team of associates, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold regulatory standards in a fast-paced healthcare linen environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production supervision, strong leadership, and experience with ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading hourly teams and developing employees; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar Continuous Improvement certification preferred.
• Experience using ERP or WMS software to track production data and labor.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills a plus.
• Experience in a healthcare-adjacent or highly regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily 1st shift production operations within the Soil department to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Ensure production schedules are met while optimizing labor utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to address operational issues and improve performance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates to promote engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage planning.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and NOVO standards.
• Monitor quality standards and track production and safety metrics.
• Support standard work, audits, and compliance initiatives.
