Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Marshall, TX facility. You will lead a 2nd shift of about 27 production staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and collaborate with other departments to optimize manpower, materials and equipment in a fast-paced plant setting.

The role emphasizes coaching, problem solving, and continuous improvement with a focus on Lean practices and KPI performance to meet delivery milestones and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and root cause analysis to improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Ability to drive KPI-based performance including safety, quality, productivity, scrap and delivery metrics while coaching production team members.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical abilities.
• Strong planning, leadership, and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Prysmian is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on an assigned shift in our Marshall, TX facility. This role is responsible for leading hourly production employees, driving safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance while developing a high-performing team culture. This position is also responsible for effectively managing cross-functional relationships with other departments to support effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment, as well as productivity improvement initiatives.

This position leads a team of approximately 27 employees on our 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). The ideal candidate enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and driving safety, quality, and productivity performance in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong MS Office and systems background.
• Previous leadership experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Lead, Lead Operator, Shift Lead, or similar manufacturing leadership role preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
