Job summary

Primarily responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of the production areas, ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining COGS to budget. Will foster engaged employees and drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma principles such as SPC and DMAIC, ensuring optimal utilization of employees, equipment, and materials to meet all order fulfillment requirements—quality, timeliness, and cost.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Plan and manage daily operations, including staffing and budget accountability.
  2. Provide training and reinforcement to ensure workforce understands and applies skills to produce quality products.
  3. Administer company rules, safety policies, and initiate corrective actions.
  4. Lead cross-functional communication and collaboration across shifts/departments.
  5. Analyze department performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Create and communicate roles and responsibilities to achieve plant commitments.
  7. Guide workforce in Standard Work compliance and suggest process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications: HS Diploma/GED required; BS Degree preferred. Lean/Six Sigma certification desired.

Skills and Experience: 5 years manufacturing experience, including 3 years in supervision. Lean manufacturing experience preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills required.

  • This position requires U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR regulations.
