Job summary
Siemens is seeking a Production Supervisor in Hingham, MA, to lead the Panel Wiring, Aftermarket, and Assembly teams under the Focus Factory Manager. You will oversee inventory, wiring, and assembly of ATS products, MODs, CDs, and annunciators, while ensuring safety and meeting delivery commitments.
The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing with 2+ years in people management, plus a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Occasional collaboration with engineering and procurement is essential.

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, business or operations management (or equivalent).
- Ability to read engineering wiring and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with SAP and MS Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Panel Wiring, Aftermarket, and Assembly teams reporting to the Focus Factory Manager.
- Ensure safety priority on the production floor and drive quality improvements.
- Adhere to production schedules to meet deadlines and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and warehouse for material availability.
- Work with Engineering to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead on-the-job training and manage performance and attendance.

The Production Supervisor will lead the Panel Wiring, Aftermarket, and Assembly team reporting directly to the Focus Factory Manager. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for inventory of the Supermarket, assembling and wiring of ATS products, MOD's, CD's and Annunciators. This role requires leadership, organization, planning, and motivational skills. The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Focus Factory Manager and cross-functionally with other departments to adhere to business operation deadlines and customer commitments to achieve delivery reliability.
- Ensure safety is priority for team members on the production floor.
- Drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality and increase productivity.
- Adhere to production schedule to meet deadlines and on time delivery.
- Work closely with purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.
- Work closely with Engineering to resolve operational issues
- Drive kitting process within the Supermarket.
- Support performance measurement and documentation of manufacturing process.
- Drive continuous improvement projects on shopfloor.
- Plan, develop, and lead all aspects of on-the-job training for all team members.
- Manage employee performance
- Manage all time and attendance tracking and reporting.
- Champion and environment of collaboration and focus on achieving results within the team and across peer groups.
- 3+ years professional experience in a manufacturing and 2+ years in people management
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, business or Operations Management (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to read engineering wiring/mechanical schematics is a must
- SAP knowledge & experience
- Use of MS Office programs including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- 5S/Lean Manufacturing
- Forklift certified (or willing to get certification)

The pay range for this position is $100k - $135K annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
