Job summary

QProducts and Services, part of the Lanco Group, seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily production activities, supervise staff, and uphold safety and quality standards. This hands-on role emphasizes timely, accurate output with a focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration.

You will coach 10–20 direct reports, manage workloads per the Production Manager, and drive efficient, compliant operations in a fast-paced factory environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5–7 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math skills including fractions operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and maintain safety and quality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Clear and effective communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• 7+ years of CNC experience preferred.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supervising employees, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who can set clear expectations, coach and develop employees, solve problems, and keep production moving while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of related production/manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage competing demands, and maintain a sense of urgency without sacrificing safety or quality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential defects or issues before they become problems.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to recognize colors across the normal spectrum.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• 7+ years of CNC experience preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a production classification in a factory or warehouse environment. Employees may work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and may be exposed to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment, machinery, and varying temperatures and weather conditions.

The role requires frequent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to safely perform hands‑on work. The position requires accurate hand/eye coordination, finger dexterity, and hand strength, including the ability to grasp, lift, push, and pull. The work may involve considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting, and kneeling for extended periods.

Employees may lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds and must be able to safely ascend and descend ladders and/or scaffolding. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
