Job summary

QProducts and Services, part of the Lanco Group of Companies, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift. This hands-on leadership role coordinates daily production activities, supervises employees, and upholds safety and quality standards.

You will coach, develop staff, monitor schedules, and drive continuous improvement to ensure on-time, accurate output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 5–7 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong math skills including fractions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective prioritization under safety and quality pressures.
• Attention to detail to identify defects early.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• 7+ years CNC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and support production employees (10–20 direct reports).
• Monitor production schedules and assign workload per Production Manager.
• Ensure tasks completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
• Establish department goals aligning with company goals.
• Coach, counsel, and provide feedback per policies.
• Conduct performance appraisals and employee development.
• Promote continuous improvement and process improvements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and operational procedure compliance.
• Initiate engineering change requests for quality and cycle-time improvements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, productive environment.
• Lead by example and maintain confidentiality.
